***Backstory:***
Kyrith Vanora was born as human as you or I and lived with a loving family, parents, two overprotective older brothers—the whole deal. Her life might have continued to be as ordinary as any other—if not for the day she was dragged through a Faerie circle and found herself trapped within the realm of the Fae. Until this moment, Kyri had believed fae to be little more than folk tales told to scare children into never wandering off alone, lest they were stolen by the fae. She'd never even once expected it would happen to her.
What nobody speaks of—and perhaps they simply don't know—is that the Fae Realm is inhospitable to humans. The ones that are taken—Changelings as they come to be known by—are often irrevocably altered by their stay.
By the time Kyrith saw her opportunity to escape—there was nothing human about her anymore. She'd become a Changeling Fae with an icy magic coursing through her veins. And the world outside—well it was very different than the one she'd left behind. With little left to do and no idea if any of her family—or their descendents still lived. She settled in Turnvale—choosing a residence closest to the bank of the river that snaked past the district.
